Kickboxing

Kickboxing is a modern dynamic martial art/sport. Our head instructor Mr Whitlock has been a 2x English kickboxing champion. He has fought in K1, full contact, light continuous, and semi contact forms of the sport across a long career.

WMA primarily focuses on the light continuous form of kickboxing that has similarities to the ITF Taekwon-do style of competition.

All the classes are fun and energetic. After a warm up we drill, do pad work, sparring, fitness and everything you need to learn the martial art.

Your membership also includes an 'open mat' session, this is some time on them mats for you to practise or train whatever or however you would like. An instructor is always there for guidance, but you must lead your own training whether that's solo, or with a partner or small group.

If you are interested in trying a few free classes, you can book them here. Just bring some clothes you can move around in, a bottle of water, and a smile to train with- we'll do the rest.

A lot of our students do compete, but there is never a necessity to do so. If you just want to learn a new skill and get fit- we welcome everyone. If you have any further queries or concerns please contact us
